My Story

Dan Sandfelder (He/Him) is a Theatre Artist and Arts Administrator with a passion for producing and a deep understanding of the inner workings of the arts world. Hailing from Roswell, Georgia, Dan's love for the arts began in the 8th grade with an improv class, which led him to pursue acting. His time at the University of Kentucky, where he earned a B.A. in Theatre and Arts Administration, allowed him to explore various aspects of theatre, from design and scenic carpentry to costume production and producing. During his studies, he served on the Department of Theatre and Dance Studio Season Board, advocating for student projects, promoting inclusivity, and finding creative ways to share student work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In New York, Dan has worked with students at Stony Brook University, Columbia University, and New York University on various projects helping to strengthen student theatre and film showcases
Outside of his professional life, Dan enjoys playing video games, cooking, running in Central Park, and searching for a tennis partner. Whether on stage or off, Dan recognizes the value of the arts and culture industries and believes in doing everything he can to keep them alive and thriving.
